The School of Performing Arts and Drama Education (“SPADE”) is a dynamic and innovative company providing coaching as well as running classes, camps and workshops in the GTA and Niagara. We specialize in nurturing young talent and fostering a passion for the performing arts in a safe and inclusive space. With a team of highly skilled and experienced instructors, we offer a wide range of programs and classes for aspiring young performers of all skill levels.

From interactive drama workshops to comprehensive training courses, we provide a supportive environment where students are encouraged to be themselves and explore their creativity while learning and developing a range of different skills. Through our expert guidance and personalized approach, SPADE aims to inspire and empower youth to pursue their dreams, express their individuality and explore the world through the exciting lens of the performing arts.

 

 

The Founder

SPADE owner Ashley nurturing young talent in a safe and inclusive space.

Ashley is a highly qualified performing arts teacher, acting coach and director with over 15 years experience working with youth. Having lived, taught, and performed in dynamic cities like Los Angeles, London, and Bangkok, Ashley brings a wealth of diverse theatrical knowledge and cultural experiences to her coaching and classes.

With her extensive expertise working as the Head of Drama in International schools, as well as working with the prestigious Juilliard curriculum, Ashley ensures that students receive a well developed education in the performing arts. Through her passion for teaching and nurturing approach, she creates a stimulating and inclusive environment where students can explore their creativity, develop their skills, and thrive on stage.
